Prince Harry always considered his late mother a role model that he should follow in his life. That is why nobody is astonished by the fact that he is working in charity, as this was one of her passions, something she was very dedicated to do. In present, Prince Harry is involved in a charity where he works with children. Prince Harry declared this works means a lot to him because he lost his mother at a very early age. He was only 12 when Princess Diana tragically died in a car accident in Paris, together with her then-boyfriend, Dodi Al Fayed. CBS News talked to the young and charming Prince Harry and asked him how does he feels about his mother right now. He answered that he thinks of her, especially when he has something to reflect on. Prince Harry also mentioned that she is the reason for which he is so dedicated to charitable work.

Prince Harry founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho an organization named Sentebale. The word that names the charity means “forget me not” and is very important for both Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso, as they both lost their mothers early in their lives. This project is also appropriate for Prince Harry, who loves children and adores spending time with them. As he is young, he has a lot of energy and patience and loves to dedicate time to children who suffered losses and need love, affection and attention.

In the last period of time, Prince Harry spent a lot of time working for his charity. He traveled often to Belize, Bahamas, Jamaica and Brazil for this project. He says he still feels like a kid inside and can communicate with the kids easily thanks to this. Prince Harry is very dedicated to his work and he enjoys the perks of his status, as a regular person would not have so many opportunities to make something that really matters for the world. Through Sentebale, Prince Harry feels he has a very important connection to his mother and manages to do something that has a very important positive impact on other children who lost their parents.
